Job Summary & Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate internal/employee communications programs and vehicles for the firm in accordance with brand standards; monitor and evaluate these programs and make recommendations for future.
  • Prepare, create, coordinate publication and distribution of various employee communications products for the firm. Coordinate internal contributors and resources in the creation of communications products.
  • Develop, create, and edit content to drive employees to a dynamic and informative employee web page.
  • Aid in the creation and execution of employee programs that educate audience about business objectives, products, and services.
  • Assist Media Relations team when needed.
  • Participate in other projects at request of management.


Qualifications:
  • Extensive writing, editorial experience in a corporate setting; Web content administration.
  • Master's Degree in communications, journalism or related field is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in communications.
  • Series 7 and 63 preferred; can be obtained on the job.
  • Excellent written, graphic, and verbal communications skills in multiple media: The ability to communicate clear, effective messages that enhance and promote the mission, goals, and business objectives of the firm.
  • Solid project management skills.
  • Ability to build relationships throughout the firm and to work cooperatively with others to accomplish objectives; understand corporate culture to respond to communication needs.
  • Ability to research, tailor, and produce editorial content for target audiences.
  • Ability to create dynamic print and web media products that inform, entertain, and drive return audience for periodical print and web media updates.
  • Ability to design, implement and analyze survey results to create programs and initiatives.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and under multiple deadlines.
  • Understand HTML, Web graphics, and print standards; and of video writing/editing.
