Your Role and Responsibilities


As part of a multi-disciplinary team you will tackle complex business challenges alongside other skilled practitioners from different backgrounds in design, AI, IoT, robotics, quantum and blockchain. A successful candidate will have solid experience in applying systems thinking to navigate complexity and ambiguity to re-design workflows and integrate people experience, business processes, data and technology layers of an enterprise. The role and your responsibilities
  • Analyse business processes and workflows with the objective of finding out how they can be improved and automated to enable the most value experiences for customers and end users. This requires constant collaboration and feedback into the design research, journey maps and service blueprint
  • Facilitate workshops, and document any information elicited using storyboards, process maps and business requirements documents.
  • Able to see the big picture, understand project objectives and be able to apply the understanding of how processes should work to operational improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and present new process designs to stakeholders for discussion.
  • Identify future automation and AI opportunities and quantify benefits for the business.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise


Required Experience
  • Experienced in applying systems thinking to break complex problems into smaller executable components that can be sequenced and delivered incrementally
  • Ability to gather and evaluate user and business requirements to design intuitive and human centred solutions and workflows
  • Ability to frame questions, conduct workshop with stakeholders, understand pain points and synthesise findings to gain insights that inform the design process
  • Ability to conduct quantitative and qualitative user research at all stages of product development
  • Ability to map value chains and business processes and identify optimisation opportunities
  • Ability to re-engineer and design future state workflows to enhance user experiences and simplify the technology landscape
  • Experience with automation and emerging technologies including package workflow solutions, robotic process automation (RPA), AI, IoT and blockchain
  • Experience with interpreting data architectures and strategies-Experience working in agile environments
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills; fluency and confidence in inspiring teammates and engaging stakeholders at multiple levels including operational staff, managers and executives
  • Experience in working with development and product teams to communicate process requirements with focus on both the user experience and the technical solution
Preferred Experience
  • Background in organisational and/or service design
  • Experience in lean process design
  • Six sigma certified -green belt or higher
  • Development experience or certification in an automation tool set e.g. APIs, DevOps, BluePrism, UIPath
  • Awareness of value framework, business drivers and levers
