Your team’s mission?

To deliver leading Fraud, Financial Crime and Retail Decisioning and Collections enterprise services, which support our customers in Australia and Institutional Divisions and which enable ANZ to meet its customer, risk, regulatory and compliance obligations.

As an Operations Engineer, you will monitor, track performance, support and maintain the application in live environment. Along with that you will work very closely with development team to triage and address any critical issues in production

What you will bring to Retail Decisioning as an Engineer?
  • Troubleshooting skills related to following Java frameworks, Logback, Jetty, groovy, Camel
  • Ability to triage and diagnose defects/issues across the full stack
  • Understand customer needs to make sound judgments
  • Pays attention to the detail and demonstrates problem solving capability to develop and deliver quality applications that delight customers
  • Have a thirst and willingness to expand knowledge with new technologies bringing benefits into the Tech Area
  • Experience in solving application level design problems that result in robust systems
  • Understanding of the integration patterns WebServices, Rest/XML, MQ
  • Understanding of XML, XSD, WSDL, Java, SQL
  • Mixture of functional and technical skills where requirements can be driven/reviewed with stakeholders
You might also have the following specialised skills:
  • Good understanding of Windows, AIX and Linux platforms
  • Knowledge of Spring, OSGI, Jboss and Hibernate and Rest/JSON
  • Knowledge of control-M, network and middleware is good to have
  • Knowledge in application processing systems (especially originations), customer management, case management and fraud management systems in a plus
  • DBA skills
