The Business Unit
Enterprise Services (ES) is responsible for the world leading application of technology and operations across every aspect of CommBank to ensure the highest levels of customer service through world-class process excellence and technology innovation.

We deliver available, reliable, consistent technology solutions for our internal and external customers, essential tools for our people, and innovative product platforms for our customers (including NetBank and CommSec).
We are driven to balance three key dynamics to ensure our success: Being safe, sound and secure, ensuring agility and driving performance.

The Team
Digital Operations and Technology (DOT) exists to accelerate the transformation of the Bank and drive customer experience and technology outcomes for the digital era.

With strong alignment to stakeholders across the Retail and Business bank, our Domains drive digital sales and service, customer and business objectives.
Working across the Domains, our technology teams drive Agility; Performance and Safe, Sound and Secure outcomes in partnership with Enterprise Services (ES) stakeholders.

You would be joining the DOT Application Management & Core Product Services (AMCPS) team. As the guardians of the DOT IT services used by our customers and in support of our business, we are obsessed about our service availability, and our 'safe, sound and secure' agenda.

The Role
In this critical Executive role You will lead, support and uplift capability of a team that has stewardship for a significant number of DOT's IT services.

You will be accountable for representing these services across the Group; for defining the service strategy and roadmap that ensures they evolve in line with our customer needs and business priorities; for working with Domains to drive risk and resilience outcomes and for managing suppliers, driving service maturity and metrics, service levels, costs and risks for managing and operating these services.

You will champion a 'safe, sound & secure' approach to safeguard your services, ensuring that we prioritise this, above all else.

Partnering with DOT Technology to support modern engineering methods and Agile & DevOps practices you will enable our teams to build and deliver the best solutions ensuring customer needs are met whilst also 'engineering' for robust service management in a safe, sound and secure manner.

The Requirements
This is an executive level role where you will be required to influence across boundaries and connect the dots between teams and programs of work, to ensure faster decision making and a focus on organisational wide outcomes.

An influential leader with a track record in mentoring, developing and inspiring a high performing team you will have a history of promoting an inclusive culture where colleagues are engaged and that they feel proud to be part of.

You will have a proven track record in driving highly available business services across, including regular assurance of resilience & recovery objectives as well as embedding a consistent implementation of the Service Management Framework across teams and championing continuous improvement.

Demonstrable Executive level stakeholder management skills will be required to enable the promotion of your team's ideas, management of conflicting priorities and challenging of others where appropriate, facilitating and gaining consensus through those interactions.
