Software Engineer
Are you an experienced Engineer? Do you have an interest in finance and technology? We're a little different in that we work like a small start-up in a large organisation, and we're fully funded to innovate and push digital boundaries. As a Senior Engineer in our team, you'll shape and build the technology for our core business banking platform. Like us, you'll love all things tech and strive to improve our customer's experiences.

As an Engineer in our team, you'll take part in end to end solution delivery using an Agile way of working. You'll have a learning mindset and the idea of exploring the unknown excites you. You'll enjoy working in a flat cross functional team collecting requirements, designing and building clean, efficient, robust and reliable solutions. You will also share responsibility towards improving quality, modernising our stack, continuous delivery, production support and are passionate about growing our DevOps maturity.

With experience in a similar role you have worked closely with your clients, understood their needs and shown the solution come to life; collecting feedback along the way. You also have a great software engineering track record across a range of technologies.

You must have experience with the following:
  • SQL database development and maintenance
  • experience with Core Java
  • experience with Shell scripting
  • solid knowledge of Perl and Python

In return, we will ensure you will receive adequate training in the newest technologies and cloud-based infrastructure. Knowledge of AWS and frontend technologies such as ReactJS and Angular is beneficial, but not mandatory.

If you enjoy working collaboratively, always learning, delivering regularly and have a proven ability in software engineering, apply via the link below.
