Our client is one of the leading financial institutions in the MENA region focused on delivering best-in-class brokerage services in terms of trading and research, focused on GCC, US & European markets. The Head of Sales is responsible to lead the team in selling local equities & fixed income products to Institutional / Corporate / HNWI clients based locally, regionally and globally. The ideal candidate would be highly knowledgeable in emerging market equities specifically GCC & working in a similar capacity with a well renowned brokerage firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage sales function and leverage delivery channels to meet sales targets
  • Establish realistic targets while maintaining a challenging environment
  • Deliver support to sales teams across the business
  • Build upon relations with clients locally + internationally
  • Direct management of the customer services function across all channels
  • Conduct weekly /monthly meetings to drive the sales team and review performances

 

Key Requirements:

  • 10+ years’ experience of sales / marketing in the financial services sector
  • 5+ years leading a sales / product team with the same years within a brokerage business
  • Evidence of success in developing and implementing large-scale, multi-regional sales strategies
  • Track record of building and maintaining a broad network of relationships
  • Knowledge of local stock exchanges in the GCC
  • Goal orientated, self-motivated & highly organised
