Sustainability is a key strategic objective for the bank. The bank is adopting an holistic, evolutionary and collaborative approach to embedding sustainability across the bank’s global footprint. To support the implementation of the group sustainability strategy, the bank is looking to hire a sustainability analyst to join the newly formed sustainability team to support and work alongside its Chief Sustainability Officer. We are seeking a driven Sustainability Specialist who is proactive and thrives on working collaboratively with others. We need someone who has the passion for sustainability, understand complex problems, shape solutions and communicate with a clear and engaging style. Responsibilities of the role:

Work collaboratively with the group’s divisions and regions by supporting their efforts to embed sustainability throughout their value chain. The ability to work at all levels of seniority would be viewed as a plus.
Contribute to sustainability projects being implemented across the bank’s operations, including managing workstreams within projects.
Work collaboratively with the Chief Sustainability Officer and team members through active support and pro-active idea generation to successfully deliver project outcomes.
Sustainability is very data intensive. The successful applicant will need to have strong excel and data modelling skills.

Experience and skills:

Data modelling and extensive excel experience.
Experience within sustainability, or a degree in a related subject would be an advantage. A passion for the subject is a prerequisite.
Independent thinker, idea generator and self-starter that can get things done.
Collaborative worker that can network and bring energy to workplace.
Good project time management skills and a proven ability to deliver on time.
Curious mindset and desire to learn.

Job Requirements:

Knowledge

Strong Microsoft office skill particularly excel and powerpoint.
Sustainability experience would be an advantage but a passion for sustainability is a prerequisite.
