Based in Frankfurt, you will work in a highly entrepreneurial and inspiring environment and become an integral part of our Investment Banking team.

Job Description:

The day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Support in execution of active Debt Advisory mandates: Support in financial modeling and due diligence analysis as well as banking Q&As. Support in process related administrative tasks.
  • Preparation of marketing materials, modeling and valuation analysis, bank presentations, etc.
  • Marketing initiatives: Screening of potential DA opportunities, update of transaction databases, client newsletters etc.

Analysts have direct exposure to all seniority levels internally, as well as direct client contact where possible. Alantra gives its Analysts significant responsibilities and is committed to their learning experience during their tenure with the firm.

Role Requirements:

  • Strong academic background (strong preference for finance degrees) and results.
  • Proficiency (both written and spoken) in German and English is a requirement.
  • At least 18 months of experience from a leading leverage finance house, investment bank or corporate finance boutique preferred.
  • Excellent financial knowledge (accounting and company analysis), detailed understanding of financial statements and lending/credit processes.
  • Strong financial modeling skills preferred.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to contribute own ideas and work autonomously.
  • Proficiency in the use of Excel, Power Point, Word and Outlook.
  • Capable of working under pressure and in a context of shifting priorities.
  • Impeccable communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).
  • Attention to detail.
