Our client is a well-established Asian securities house with a strong Hong Kong platform spanning global securities trading, investment banking, wealth management and asset management, serving institutional and high-net-worth clients across Asia. They're looking to bring in a Trade Support professional to sit at the centre of their post-trade operation, working directly with the trading desk, brokers, custodians and Prime Brokers across FICC and Equity Derivatives products.

This is a chance to own a broad, technically varied book across multiple asset classes, with real exposure to automation and process improvement work, not just a settlements seat.

What you'll do:

1. Capture and validate trades in booking systems post-execution, ensuring accuracy from trade date through settlement
2. Manage affirmation/confirmation with custodians and Prime Brokers, chasing down and resolving trade fails
3. Track corporate actions and derivative lifecycle events, including resets, fixings, rolls and compressions
4. Run daily reconciliations between internal systems and counterparty statements, resolving breaks
5. Support margin call calculations (Initial/Variation) across cleared and bilateral OTC derivatives, plus regulatory reporting and desk-facing queries

What you'll bring:

1. A bachelor's degree in IT, Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field (an IT background is a strong plus)
2. 4+ years in Trade Support, Middle Office or Settlements
3. Hands-on experience across at least three product types: Rates & Credit, Equity Derivatives, FX/Commodities or MBS/CMOs
4. Strong Excel skills and Bloomberg familiarity
5. Bonus points for Python, VBA or SQL, and any experience using AI to streamline manual processes
