Our client, an insurance company, is seeking a Product Development Manager to join its team.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the end-to end product development cycle, from ideation and market research through to implementation and launch.
• Manage new product roll outs, refine value propositions, optimise distribution channels, and enhance product development processes.
• Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external business partners.
• Ensure product development activities comply with established governance standards, risk control guidelines, and procedures.
• Prepare product documentation and supporting materials for internal and regulatory approvals.
• Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and customer journeys to identify opportunities for product innovation.
• Lead a small team, providing coaching and supporting the development of junior colleagues.

Requirements

• A university degree, preferably in actuarial science, finance, business administration, or a related discipline.
• At least four years of relevant insurance industry experience, ideally in product development, product marketing, channel development, or actuarial work.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and a customer-centric mindset.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex issues clearly.
• An adaptable, proactive approach with strong execution capabilities.
