APAC Prime & Equities Cash Business Analyst / Project Manager

Role Overview:
This is a senior role within a Markets Technology team responsible for delivering change across Prime and Cash Equities trading platforms in APAC. The successful candidate will act as a key subject matter expert, working closely with Trading, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Technology teams to drive both strategic initiatives and ongoing platform enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead delivery and oversight of the APAC Prime & Cash Equities change portfolio, including strategic, regulatory, and BAU initiatives
- Partner with technology teams to manage backlogs, sprint planning, and delivery execution across development and QA
- Establish and drive consistent project delivery frameworks and best practices across initiatives
- Own business analysis governance, including requirement documentation and centralised repositories (e.g. JIRA, Confluence)
- Evaluate and prioritise cross-team requirements impacting trading platforms
- Ensure detailed documentation and maintenance of end-to-end trading workflows
- Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to align deliveries with long-term platform strategy
- Engage senior stakeholders across Front Office, Operations, Compliance, and Technology
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, regulatory requirements, and electronic trading policies
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or similar)
- Strong experience working on front-office trading platforms (Equities preferred)
- Deep understanding of end-to-end equity trading flows and lifecycle processes
- Proven ability to produce clear, structured business and functional requirements documentation
- Experience leading or contributing to complex change programmes or project delivery
- Strong stakeholder management skills across business and technology teams
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Solid understanding of risk, controls, and regulatory considerations in trading environments
