Our client is a well-established family office based in Hong Kong. With the continued growth of the organization, the need has arisen to recruit a high caliber candidate to join them.

You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of all aspects of finance and its activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations including accounting and financial reporting, tax filing, business transaction facilitation, financial policy and risk management etc.

Financial and management reporting:

• Prepare and consolidate financial statements across entities including consolidated balance sheet, cash flow statement etc.
• Responsible for preparing monthly/quarterly financial reports together with department heads for management review
• Communicate insights on company financials with management in a timely & accurate manner with inputs from department heads

Financial advisory

• Provide inputs from a financial perspective on business decision making

Treasury and cash management

• Oversee, monitor & plan the company’s overall cash/capital positions, flagging any potential issues and opportunities with management
• Manage short-term risk-free investments

Financial policy and comliance

• Establish finance policies and processes to monitor and control key financial activities
• Prepare documentation for annual statutory audit and related statutory filing
• Continuously identify areas of improvement to enhance internal control and efficiencies

Others

• Develop, plan and execute annual tax strategy
• Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders

The applicant should have:

• Degree holder in accounting, finance or equivalent
• Qualified accountant of CPA or equivalent is preferred
• 10+ years of finance, accounting & treasury experience, with proven track record in managerial level position, preferably with experience working at in holdings company with diversified businesses
• Sound knowledge of Company Ordinance and accounting reporting related ordinance
• Strong business acumen and be able to communicate with C-level on strategic context and implications
• Ability to lead finance team to execute day to day finance operations while maintaining a high-level view on overall financial performance
• Excellent command in both verbal and written English and Cantonese, Mandarin is a plus
• Knowledge of latest ERP system (e.g., SAP) would be an advantage
