Our client, a leading financial institution is looking for an IT Services and Operations Director to lead their IT Services Management, Oversight, and Operations. It is a key position with the Senior IT Executive to face off to technology business management.
- Work with the IT, Business, and Operational IT stakeholders at all levels. Build effective communication and coordination between various business units.
- Deliver and maintain technical support including Desktop and VIP Support.
- Provide reporting on availability, continuity, audit, and capacity aspects of service management and acting as a point of escalation for significant service-related issues.
- Provide guidance on best practice service management ensuring that critical IT services are supported and maintained to the highest level of standard.
- Review existing Operational model with existing processes and procedures to smooth and effective Cloud On-perm Integration.
- Review and manage disaster recovery methodology on high availability zone failover and cross-region disaster recovery arrangement.
- Make judgment calls on problem and change, ability to drive the change forward, and tracking the resolution across the IT services group.
- Ability to look at the analytics, process, and make changes to the existing models.
- Executes strategic resource planning, leads management activities.
- Provide leadership on Services Desk and Services Management teams.
- Strong technology leaders across IT Strategy, Operations, and IT Services.
- Strong technical knowledge and understandings in Clouds, Servers, Network, and Enterprise Infrastructure operations.
- Experience in managing IT Services and Support functions.
- Experience in driving enterprise technology demands and services.
- Lead a large technology IT Services and Operations.
- Strong understanding of internal processes and the ability to bring and navigate expedited outcomes.
- Strong organizational structure, resources management, and people management experience to drive regional IT Services and Operations.
- Strong ITIL Service Management knowledge and experience.
- Strong influencing power to work with senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese / Mandarin)
