Regional Assistant Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis

As part of our regional expansion, we are looking for a capable and independent individual as part of our Finance and Operations team. This position reports directly to our APAC Financial Controller. The objectives include providing financial analysis, forecasting, modeling, budgeting support to APAC Financial Controller and the regional offshore team. This position will be actively involved in analysis, support, forecast, and KPI reporting with leaders. Hence, strong relationship and communication skills are required to liaise with regional team leaders, partners, and global Finance and Operations team. Involvement in various special and ad hoc assignments are required.

Responsibilities: 

Perform month end close with regional offshore team

Prepare and communicate analysis to facilitate regional leader’s business decision making, optimize business performance and drive long term business growth

Coordinate and prepare budgets, forecast, and cash flow modeling.

Assist in company’s statutory accounts and tax computation in accordance with statutory requirement and tax rules in own region

Assist in the formation of financial models to support regional budget and forecast  

Assist the team in the analysis and execution of business tasks 

Assist in work process improvement and/or re-engineering for continuous improvement

Support the implementation of global and regional financial initiatives

Perform ad hoc analysis from source data
 

Requirements: 

Bachelor degree holder in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration

 Minimum of 5 years of working experience with Big 4 audit firm is essential (Audit only experiences will be considered as well)

Qualified Accountant from professional accounting institutions. Newly Qualified Accountant will also be considered 

Excellent command in English and Cantonese are must, business proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, financial modeling knowledge and experience will be advantageous

Confidence, good problem-solving skills with strong analytical and commercial sense

Ability to work with individuals at all levels within the organization

Good team player and able to work under pressure and manage deadlines
