We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Technical Product Manager.

Principal responsibilities

  • Work with Data and Analytics Product Owners and DevOps teams, and responsible for the delivery, on-going success & continuous improvement of a discrete set of data products or business services, or shared data products, platforms, environments that are used by other DevOps Teams under one of the following technology domain in the region
  • Data Supply Chain, accountable to managing data sourcing, modelling, distribution and consumption demand for Retail Banking and Wealth Management business
  • Data on Cloud, accountable for data accessibility including driving the agenda to simplify and modernize our warehouse & reporting landscape and drive our journey to adopting cloud technologies
  • Advance Analytics, ML and Decisioning, accountable for evolving and running our advance analytical capabilities. Work with our engineering and analytics colleagues to ensure we are prepared to create, release and support analytical products at scale and with the appropriate controls
  • Work with the product owner to ensure that work is deconstructed and translated into development activities across teams
  • Accountable for the creation and management of epics, backlog management and prioritisation across teams and for conformance to the IT operating model with regards to agile and Technology Practices
  • Work with product owner & team to ensure that the lead time to deploy changes is continuously improving and benchmarks appropriately across other functions within the DevOps team
  • Keep up to date and have expertise on current data or analytics tools, technologies and areas like cyber security and regulations pertaining to aspects like data privacy, consent, data residency etc. that are applicable
  • Accountable for ensuring compliance of the data products and services with mandatory and regulatory requirements, control objectives in the risk and control framework and technical currency, in line with published standards and guidelines and, with the architecture function, implementation of the business imperatives
  • Accountable for ensuring that all activities performed by teams adhere to the relevant prevailing data standards and data controls

  • Extensive product management as well as functional and technical business analysis experience in supporting data warehouse, reporting, data on cloud, GCP, advance analytics or machine learning
  • Proven, significant and demonstrable experience of analysing and documenting business requirements for global applications
  • A proven track record of delivering projects on time, in scope and on specifications. Including prioritisation and requirements alignment across competing demands as a product owner
  • Highly developed reasoning and analytical skills
  • Experience working with on and off shore teams, with strong stakeholder management evidenced in an international environment
  • Good knowledge of Agile engineering practices such as Scrum, Kanban, LEAN, SAFE framework and other best practice methodologies
  • Knowledge and interested in new ways of working with our data and analytics teams on data, advance analytics, machine learning and visualization technologies such as Google Cloud, JupyterHub, DataRobot, Databrick, Kafka, Nifi, Spark, Qlik, Tableau, etc
  • A highly motivated individual with positive and proactive attitude with proven rapid learning capabilities
