Department Profile

Quality Assurance & Production Management (QAPM) provides production management, quality assurance, and end user services for Institutional Securities and Support Services. QAPM also manages the Enterprise Command Center, Enterprise Systems Management, and Technology Disaster Recovery services.

Role Profile

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer for a role that is a combination of engineering and L3 support of the QA / Test environments that underpin the equity derivatives risk systems within the firm.

The engineering aspect of the role involves developing new tools and utilities to allow the environments to be simpler to maintain, more reliable and robust and to be easier to support by our L1 and L2 teams. Additionally it involves project work to build new environments, upgrade work to infrastructure and the analysis of complex systems used in the department to facilitate the improvement the support model.

The support work involves investigation issues that have been escalated by the L1/L2 teams. Heavy emphasis is placed on problem solving of these complex systems (these have many components and a large number of interdependencies on other components and systems) and then developing repeatable, automated solutions for future investigations that can be provided to the L1/L2 teams.

The role will also have considerable scope for the development of automated testing solutions (with BDD concept) so that the reliance on manual testing can be reduced.
