Country Company Secretary
Job Description
Responsible for all company secretarial matters for the MIS & MSS entities in India, including:

• preparation and organisation for Board / Committee / Shareholders meetings, including:

• to prepare agendas and reporting packs

• to co-ordinate with senior management, other internal and external parties, as appropriate

• to arrange for and attend the meetings

• to prepare meeting minutes

• to maintain all documentation

• provision and co-ordination of company secretarial services, including:

• to prepare documents relating to various corporate secretarial matters

• to propose and/or arrange for board / shareholders approval as required

• to observe statutory and regulatory requirements and deadlines

• to attend to various hardcopy or electronic filings with competent authorities

• to maintain all company documents and records

• to provide preliminary legal-related support to other Teams (not including legal advice);

• managing external counsel or other professional, as required

• alert to corporate governance matters and make recommendation, as appropriate

• provision of any ad hoc support that may be required, as appropriate

This is a newly created postion within India, with the opportunity for self motivated candidates to develop and expand the role across the region.


• 5 to 7 years solid experience in company secretarial matters

• A Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India

• Financial services experience is an advantage

• Experience with NBFC is an advantage

• Experience working in an international environment is an advantage

• Experience working with senior management and high profile individuals

• Work independently with minimal supervision

• Practical experience in the use of Microsoft PowerPoint
