Department Overview:
Information Security (IS) is part of Wells Fargo's technology organization. Wells Fargo views information security as enabling lines of business to mitigate information security risk in accordance with our risk appetite. Through a framework that addresses policy, process, operations, people, and technology, IS protects our infrastructure, corporate data, and customer assets, and ensures alignment with applicable regulations and laws. Our vision is to provide Wells Fargo with world-leading cyber security risk management.

About the Role:
The selected candidate will work with the Wells Fargo Securities (WFS) Information Security Office (WFSISO) to review information security related risks and report those risks to WFS, Corporate Banking Group (CBG) and Government & Institutional Banking (GIB) Senior Management.
To produce the required reports this candidate will work with a variety of data suppliers internal to the organization including the line of business, operational risk officers, second and third line of defense team members, and third-party risk management teams. Reports contain resolution and timeline information and are provided to Senior Management on a monthly basis with interim status information released as necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Compromised Data (CD) follow-up to closure
  • Provide Input for the Vendor Inherent Risk Questionnaire (IRQ)
  • Follow up on High Risk Action Plans and Security Plans
  • Prepare Monthly and Quarterly Reports for Management
  • Follow up on Code Reviews (internal and Vendor hosted)
  • Provide General Info Security questions answered or Project Related
  • Provide Infosec consulting support to the ISL Team.



Market Skills and Certifications

Essential Qualifications
Overall Experience : 8-10 years and relevant experience around 4- 6 Years
Education: Bachelors in Commerce / Science

Two or more years of experience in:
1. Compliance
2. Operational risk management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk)
3. Or a combination of Compliance and Operational risk management
4. Application and/or Infrastructure Risk Assessment
5. IT systems security- Firewall configuration experience, CDI, Reverse Audit and DLP experience.

Desired Qualifications:

Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
CISSP /CISA/CEH certification is preferred
S ecurities Market / Capital markets Knowledge
Business process management
Financial services industry experience.
