Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end onboarding cases for institutional clients (e.g. Funds, Investment Managers, Financial Institutions), from receipt of request through to account activation.
• Review, analyze and validate KYC and onboarding documentation, ensuring completeness and alignment with regulatory and internal requirements.
• Prepare and issue onboarding/KYC requirement lists, follow up on outstanding items, and resolve documentation gaps with clients and internal teams.
• Coordinate closely with KYC, Regulatory Onboarding, Legal, Operations, DBM and offshore teams to progress cases and obtain required approvals.
• Track onboarding progress using internal onboarding systems and trackers
• Escalate risks, bottlenecks or regulatory issues appropriately, documenting decisions and outcomes clearly.
• Support ongoing maintenance activities where required (e.g. account changes, periodic reviews, stakeholder coordination).

Preferred Background

• Previous experience in Client Onboarding, KYC or Regulatory Operations within a global financial institution.
• Exposure to APAC FX Markets is strongly preferred.
• Prior Operations or Middle Office experience (e.g. trade booking, settlements, post-trade processes) is advantageous, as it supports effective coordination with downstream teams.
• Familiarity with onboarding platforms or workflow tools (e.g. Appian, Unqork, or similar) is beneficial but not mandatory.
