Job Description

SS&C is a leading provider of third-party fund administration and Transfer Agency services to European investment clients and their customers. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for motivated and detail-oriented interns to join our Transfer Agency team.

This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in fund administration, transfer agency operations, and financial services. Depending on business needs, successful candidates will be assigned to either Registration (AML/KYC) or Dealing Services , where they will work alongside experienced professionals and develop valuable industry knowledge and practical skills.

The Role

Registration (AML/KYC)

As an Intern within Registration, you will support the team by:
  • Assisting with ongoing AML/KYC reviews in line with Luxembourg regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting the maintenance and accuracy of client static data on the register.
  • Helping ensure account documentation complies with internal AML and KYC policies.
  • Assisting with the preparation and review of documentation for fund conversions.
  • Supporting communication with internal Compliance and Risk teams to resolve AML/KYC queries.
  • Helping maintain accurate records and ensuring adherence to internal policies and procedures.
  • Assisting with due diligence communications to investors, fund managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Escalating potential AML-related concerns to the appropriate team members.
  • Providing general administrative and operational support to the Registration team as required.

Dealing Services

As an Intern within Deling Services, you will support the team by:
  • Assisting with the investigation and resolution of reconciliation exceptions.
  • Supporting operational projects, including preparing templates, reports, and process documentation.
  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly invoices and quality checks for client billing.
  • Helping collect and monitor operational processing data and reporting timelines.
  • Supporting the oversight of operational cash management processes across client accounts.
  • Assisting with the production of management information and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
  • Providing administrative and operational support to the wider Dealing Services team as required.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has an interest in financial services, fund administration, or transfer agency operations.
  • Is studying towards, or has recently completed, a degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Law, Mathematics, or a related discipline (preferred).
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Is organised, eager to learn, and able to work effectively within a team.
  • Can manage multiple tasks and prioritise work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Has good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Previous knowledge of AML/KYC or investment operations is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
