Responsibilities:

As a Senior Associate within the Transaction Support team, you'll participate in due diligence engagements related to transactions involving private equity investor groups and strategic corporate buyers. You'll analyse the financial and operational results of companies targeted for sale, review accounting records and participate in interviews with management.

You'll work effectively as a team member, demonstrating your commitment to quality, sharing responsibilities, providing support, maintaining communications and updating senior team members on progress. As an influential member of the team, you'll help to create a positive learning culture, coach and counsel junior team members, and support their professional and personal development.

Requirements:

  • Recognised university degree and / or professional accounting/finance qualification with a minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in a professional services environment
  • Experience in due diligence or audit services will be an added advantage
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills
  • Strong drive to excel professionally, and to guide and motivate others
  • Able to manage multiple engagements and work well under pressure
  • Competency in MS Office Excel, Power Point and Word
  • Numerically-inclined with an eye for details
  • A team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia
