Project Manager – IT Infrastructure & Architecture

Responsibilities :
As a Manager defining IT & Technology strategies and roadmaps using a structured methodology that includes but not limited to the following:

• Lead clients' technology infrastructure engagements
• Lead design, implementation and migration to new IT infrastructure and cloud (IaaS/PaaS) environments
• Lead assessment of clients' data center and IT infrastructure, evaluate rationalization opportunities, sourcing options (including cloud)/ economic models, and recommend strategic direction
• Support clients in implementing and migrating to new IT infrastructure services including internal technology and external services (including cloud)
• Primary liaison with client stakeholders and architects
• Manage engagement staffing, financials, quality and risk
• Lead client pursuits and development of service proposals
• Lead development of enhancements to the infrastructure & cloud management methodologies and contribute thought leadership content

Requirements :
• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science,/Information Technology/Engineering/any related field from an accredited college/university
• Exposure to a range of industries would be ideal, but not essential. Likely industry exposure will include government and financial services
• Minimum 6 - 8 years in IT infrastructure technology management and architecture including infrastructure automation, prior system/storage admin/engineering experience and consulting experience is preferred
• Technology experience, including but not limited to server (Wintel, Unix), storage (SAN / NAS), virtualization technology (VMware, KVM, LPAR, LDOM), automation, high availability architecture, data center computing transformation and infrastructure transformation from strategy to design and implementation
• Certifications in Microsoft MCSA/ MCSE, Cisco CCNA/ CCNP, VMware VCA/ VCP is a plus
• Additional desirable experience in infrastructure automation and instrumentation (Unix Admin, Scripting / Programming Capabilities, SDLC Process Knowledge), Unified Communications, Collaboration, Database/application server architecture, network, information security
• Strong leadership, business, technical, analytical, problem solving and verbal and written communication skills
• Analytical and detail conscious.
• A team leader and support with good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Independent, self-motivated, organized and results oriented individual; capable of handling multiple tasks and achieving tight deadlines.
• Good command of English.
