With over 800 team members, our Global Supplier Services(GSS) organization works proactively with line of business colleagues to designand execute category sourcing strategies, identify capable suppliers, lead thecompetitive sourcing process and negotiate and contract with the chosensuppliers. Leveraging firm-wide buying power and controlling risk areconsistent overarching goals. GSS then ensures that the contracted goods andservices can be obtained by our employees in an efficient, cost-effectivemanner globally.

The ConsultancyServices team is partnering with other GSS groups and senior leaders to enableLOBs and Corporate groups engage firms quickly, easily and safely whilst maximisingthe economic benefits for JPMC. The teamis responsible for running a program management office to continuously improveand streamline the supplier on-boarding process as well as monitor and reporton supplier performance and compliance to JPMCs strategic objectives.

The role will be responsible for theday-to-day running of the program management office as well as executing sourcingtransactions. Progressively, subject to performance, the role can develop intoa category lead role.

This role will ultimately report to theHead of EMEA Sourcing. The role will work closely with senior Category Managers,Category Directors and their teams based across a number of locations globally.

This roles requires excellentanalytical and numerical skills. Attention in developing client relationshipsacross all levels of the organization is paramount.

Rolesand Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and facilitating on-boarding of transactions
  • Engagement tracking on a daily basis identifying and trouble-shooting issues to enable timely supplier on-boarding
  • Identify, explain and assess key performance metrics as well as quality issues to help reduce re-occurrence
  • Ensure all risks and issues are escalated appropriately
  • Maintain project reports including pipeline, in-flight and completed projects on a daily basis
  • Collect and aggregate data from different databases ensuring data integrity
  • Produce weekly reports on key metrics for Senior Management
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure accuracy of reporting
  • Prepare materials for quarterly and other key business reviews
  • Identify improvements and streamline the operation
  • Client focus, work as a trusted client partner and advocate, ensuring clients see Category Sourcing as strong strategic business partner that brings value to vendor relationships
  • Work with clients and other stakeholders to understand their requirements and help them source competitively in line with company policies. Including but not limited to: Conducting spend analysis, conduct contract and price negotiations, running competitive tenders, managing contract approvals through to execution
  • Manage vendor and internal enquiries to ensure queries are resolved and responded to within a timeframe and manner sensitive to the urgency of the event. Escalate appropriately
  • Ability to manage own workload and report on progress in a pro-active and timely manner. Support Category Managers in reporting and project management
  • Contribute to category management strategies
  • Maintain compliance with all policy and procedural guidelines at all times

Specific Category Experience:
  • Experience in financial institutionswithin category sourcing roles and / or consultancy, preferably Big 4, organization.

Required Experience
  • Experience in Financial Services or Big4 background or similar desirable
  • Evidence of organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage change with conflicting priorities
  • Demonstrate experience of multi-tasking and effective time management with attention to detail in a fast paced environment.
  • Experience of effective communication both oral and written
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills: Excel, Word and PowerPoint paramount
  • Comfortable working across all levels of the organization and bringing teams together to achieve results
