About our client

Our client is a leading investment group with operations across the Middle East, Africa and Europe with headquarters in Doha, Qatar.

Its three business lines are investment banking, asset management, and principal investments which focus on real estate, credit, and equity investments. What the job involves

• Assist in designing operational workflows, policies and procedures to support operating tasks and banking products
• Reconcile and review Nostro bank accounts
• Receives instructions for new equity deals or investments and inputs them into the accounting system
• Send deal confirmations by SWIFT.

Who we are looking for

• Strong understanding of financial products, including equities, fixed income, derivatives and currencies
• Excellent analytical skills
• Strong communication skills in English, written and verbal
• Basic knowledge of Shariah applications
• Familiar with banking operations including funds transfer, FX and MM deals, time deposits, SWIFT
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics and business administration
• Some experience of investment bank operations, with a knowledge of trade support, reconciliations and confirmations processes.
