Role Summary:
You will be responsible for providing operational support for the administration of third party equity and real estate managed funds

Role Description:
Monitoring and reporting on daily activity.
Accurately checking and processing of all fund-related invoices.
Investigating breaks in the cash account.
Overseeing transaction settlements.
Reconciliation of daily cash activity.
Bank account reconciliations.
Preparation of periodic management reports.
Timely and accurate preparation of regular management accounts and financial statements.
Timely and accurate preparation of statutory accounts.
Liaising with front office staff and providing support as required.
Liaising with internal and external auditors as required.
Liaising with third party accountants, auditors, lawyers and trustees as required.
Establishing and maintaining policies and procedures for the fund accounting function.
Ensuring all relevant regulatory and accounting requirements are met.
Identifies areas for professional development of self.
Ensures high standards of confidentiality and ethics to safeguard commercially sensitive information.

University Graduate with suitable discipline with preference to Accounting, Finance, Economics etc.
CAT / ACCA / CPA qualified is a must
Minimum of 5 years experience as a fund or private equity accountant using double entry accounting, IFRS and experience in VAT / tax treatment

Required special Skills:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, with Arabic an advantage
  • Good organizational and administration skills and an attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel
