The Role Responsibilities

The main function of this role will be to assist the Head of Global Markets Valuation Methodology in independently assessing the valuation of all assets and liabilities with respect to the XVA business which resides within the Financial Markets business. Additional responsibilities would include the calculation and assessment of market and model reserves, the calculation and implementation of BAU and stress prudential valuation adjustments, IFRS levelling as well as other areas delegated by the Head of Global Markets valuation methodology.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • Anyone with Hands on Financial Mathematics & Analytics or Business OR Financial Engineering background, PLEASE APPLY.
  • Newly qualified Accountants with similar knowledge can apply as well. 2+ years of Exp. would be preferable.
  • Strong IT skills. with python and SQL as desirable
  • Experience of XVA and valuation would be desirable
  • Ability to work under constant pressure to tight deadlines and deliver high quality output.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels both written (report and guideline writing) and verbally.
  • Analytical and challenging mindset.
