What You Will Do Reporting directly to the executive team, you will be the core technical anchor for our finance and accounting operations across the region.

1. Group Closing & Consolidation: Personally manage the group month end and year end closing processes, consolidating accounts across our Singapore and Southeast Asian entities under SFRS and IFRS.
2. Fintech Credit Accounting: Oversee daily accounting for our specialized lending products, including BNPL, micro financing, and salary advances, while accurately tracking loan provisions.
3. Audit & Tax Leadership: Serve as the main point of contact for external auditors and tax agents, ensuring smooth and compliant annual audits, GST, and Corporate Tax filings.
4. Process Automation: Take charge of refining our accounting systems and financial controls to eliminate manual spreadsheet dependencies and streamline regional reporting.
5. Treasury & Cash Management: Monitor regional cash flow, handle strategic fund allocations across entities, and track compliance for our debt facilities.
6. Team Guidance: Manage and support a lean finance team, ensuring high accuracy and efficiency in daily operations.

What We Are Looking For

1. Professional Qualifications: Degree in Accountancy or Finance, with an active CA Singapore, CPA, or ACCA certification.
2. Proven Experience: 7 to 10 years of full set accounting experience. Prior background in a Big Four or reputable mid tier audit firm, followed by commercial experience in a startup or SME environment is highly preferred.
3. Industry Knowledge: Experience in fintech, credit financing, lending, or banking operations is a major plus.
4. Technical Standards: Solid, up to date knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
5. Systems & Automation: Strong ability to leverage technology to improve operational efficiency. Hands on experience with Oracle NetSuite ERP or other automated finance tools is a plus.
6. Mindset: Highly proactive, detail oriented, and possessing a strong sense of commercial judgment and accountability.
