Payments Product Management Team NA:

Payments is the flagship product within Treasury Services. This team is responsible for product performance, strategy and development of USD, EUR, GBP, clearing, FX solutions, Continuous linked settlement (CLS) and Clearing house settlement services (CHSS) delivered to banks, broker dealers and Non-bank financial institutions in the Asia Pacific region

Role Description:
The successful candidate will drive client solutions to meet client needs, new business development and manage the P &L for the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) in the Asia Pacific region. This is our largest region by revenue and volume. The role partnering closely with the regional Financial Institution /Banks, Broker Dealers and non-bank financial institutions sales and service teams in order to streamline product promotion and implementation of new business whilst maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction for existing clients. Additionally the candidate will help deliver the broader business strategy, for example ensuring that the clearing products are futureproof. They will also manage their own P&L for their regional client bases, whilst supporting the day-to-day product management responsibilities across the team, which includes developing the solution set and client collateral, managing the risk and control agenda and following and implementing industry changes. The candidate will be responsible for managing a team of individuals focused on the sub-regions.


• Provide primary/first point of contact for regional FIG sales teams
• Manage and grow Product P&L, driving new business opportunities
• Managing a team of product sales specialists
• Deliver and maintain high quality marketing collateral for the product
• Work closely with the other product managers and sales teams in this and other regions, to provide integrated solutions to FIG clients
• Develop subject matter expertise on high value clearing products as well as a good working knowledge of other products and services used by FIG clients
• Promote and appropriately price clearing services
• Create and present reporting and updates to all stakeholders, including management teams
• Understand the risks inherent in the clearing products and assist product managers to drive programs to reduce risks
• Partner with other product managers and internal stakeholders as required to complete industry and regulatory reporting/ questionnaires.
Key Attributes/qualifications:

• Proven product management, sales or payment experience
• Confidence and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
• Ability to build relationships at a senior level with key business partners
• Previous client facing experience preferred
• Strong organization and problem solving skills
• Proactive, takes ownership of initiatives from the start; sees through to completion
• Knowledge of Mandarin is desirable
• Ability to learn the technical and operational aspects of the clearing products quickly
• Analytical skills and attention to detail and clients
• People management skills
