Ensure that all application development performed is in-line with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and IT Governance & MAS requirements
Manage and address incidents and queries from users
Ensure quality checks on risk management for application development deliverables
Act as "intermediary" between Business Analysts and Developers including translating business requirement into functional specification, etc.
Perform gap analysis and impact assessment for requirements provided
Understand functionalities and technical aspects of the system; analyze technical impact on interfacing systems
Provide development of system design and technical documents
Programming and perform codes review
Responsible for management updates on system-related activities
Provide production support for batch cycles
Responsible for the development of cost & time efficient Integral Life Application solutions to support the initiatives and product launches
Ensures that Integral Life BAU issues are resolved within agreed SLA
Responsible for communicating with Business Users of Integral Life Application and with other teams within Technology department in order to provide necessary support
Requirements
Degree in IT or related areas
Minimum 10 to 12 years of working experience in application development and maintenance
Minimum of 6 to 8 years of working experience in insurance industry
Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in Integral Life application development
Knowledge of AS400, COBOL, Control Language and SQL development
Strong analytical ability and excellent communication skills
