Client is a family office established in Singapore.
§ To be primarily responsible for asset allocation, selection, and monitoring of funds across various asset classes - Fixed Income, Equities, Multi-strategy and Hedge Funds.
§ To improve & maintain asset allocation framework (strategic and tactical) and an institutional fund selection framework to meet the portfolio's return objectives and to achieve alpha
§ To lead in selection and review of funds/ETFs through qualitative and quantitative analysis of funds. To advocate an active manager or ETF where appropriate.
§ To generate ideas to identify new managers, new investment opportunities across asset classes
§ To assist with monthly and quarterly reporting of investments under coverage
§ To prepare reports and engage in other tasks & projects as required by the Head of Investment.
§ Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics. CFA, CAIA qualification would be an advantage.
§ At least 8 years of experience in managing monies for private or institutional investors with asset allocation and fund selection/monitoring experience. P&L responsibility will be an advantage.
§ Experience in building a portfolio of funds/external managers/ETFs (including Hedge funds) based on optimisation of risk/return and in accordance with strategic asset allocation
§ Proficient in Bloomberg, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point). Programming skills (VBA, Python, Matlab) would be an advantage.
§ Strong analytical and critical reasoning skills with high ethical and professional standards.
§ An energetic, self-directed, self-motivated personality with an independent and engaging forward-thinking mind. Must be able to work as part of a team.
