The Treasury Services Technology group in EMEA / ASIAPAC develops and supports systems for the Treasury Services business. Overall the group supports more than 50 applications across various technology platforms.

Your deep knowledge of design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming will help your team raise their game, meeting your standards, as well as satisfying both business and functional requirements. The candidate is part of the Asia feature team within Global Payments Strategy organization responsible for implementing payments product capabilities and external clearing integration for a strategic payments application. Primary focus will be to support the migration of clearing flows to the target architecture and to implement new clearing capabilities so as to support business expansion and increased volumes.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including :

  • Candidate should possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • At least 7 years of experience in Java enterprise application development, preferably delivering high-performance, mission critical applications
  • Min 5 years experience in relational database design; database performance tuning experience will be a strong advantage
  • Experience in working with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra
  • Knowledge in developing microservices and RESTful APIs
  • Working experience with messaging and pub-sub platforms such as UM and Kafka
  • Good understanding of payments data models; familiarity with the ISO20022 standard is an advantage
  • Familiar with UNIX operating system and scripting
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Good communication skills
