The Role Responsibilities


  • Work with the Chief Data Office team, Data team and COO to agree / prioritise at DQ scope and plan for Cash, Trade, Securities Services and DDP.
  • Work with the CFCC team, GPOs, Business and COOs to ensure compliance to GPTP and tracking remediation.
  • Responsible for updating PWG, PSC, NFRC and other forums with monthly project updates including progress, risk, issues and impediments.

  • Data profiling results
  • Provide business solutions and track / coordinate remediation of data quality and GPTP exceptions, and risk issues.
  • Partner with other T&I streams to drive DQ management and rollout, including ensuring handoffs are documented and joined up.
  • Work closely with Leads (product or GPO) to estimate future work scope and delivery requirements.
  • Review and challenge scope/funding requirements from Operations/Business/ Technology.
  • Review DQ controls and assurance reports from Operations (to identify issues and remedial actions)
  • Proactively challenge the data quality aspects in certified BAU processes and systems to pre-empt any gaps. Oversee the process of remediating the exceptions identified. Challenge scope, timeline and funding as required.
  • Monitor effectiveness of DQ controls as per the Data Quality Management Framework (DQMF) policy and procedures requirements.
  • Act as an SME for TB DQ and GPTP adherence and raise awareness with business teams with examples of how change can go wrong and best practices to follow.


Our Ideal Candidate


  • Degree in Accounting, Statistics, or Computer Science specializing in Information Management, or equivalent.
  • 8 to 12 years of work experience in Banking domain.
  • Strong MS Office skills required. Knowledge and experience of SQL, experience of working with data profiling and metadata tools will be added advantage.
  • Strong communication skills – oral, written and presentation. Able to manage communications at senior level with process owners and reporting owners.
  • Able to work independently and familiar with SCB processes and procedures.
  • Ability to learn quickly with positive attitude.
