Our client, one of the most prestigious and cutting edge algorithmic trading firms in the market is looking for an ambitious, results driven Finance Manager to oversee all areas of their middle office. This hands on role will be responsible for all accounting functions which will include but not be limited to the preparation of financial statements and providing assistance and guidance on accounting standards and best practices for all trading activities.

Responsibilities:

- Review and monitor daily P&L for a variety of financial products including some cryptocurrencies

- Assist in handling all aspects of accounting for various operating and trading entities

- Assist in the preparation and review of month-end close for multiple entities across difference jurisdictions

- Assist in many ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives

- Assist in preparation of tax filings and creating expense allocations for trading entities

Prerequisites for role:

- At least 8 years post-qualified experience within the financial services industry, any financial markets experience will be highly regarded

- The ability to think creatively, challenge the status quo and outstanding communication skills

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent

- Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance
