Responsibilities
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Trade Accountant is responsible for performing month-end closing, delivering accurate and timely accounting reports and GST reporting. He/ She will be responsible for the P&L for the product lines, and ensure the ins-and-outs of trading transactions, including ensuring timely payments and receipts required. The Accountant will also identify, initiate and support improvement projects of financial systems and processes.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with a degree in a finance discipline. Ideally, you will have worked around 8-10 years in accounting and finance in commodities trading companies, either in energy or non-energy commodities experience.
You will be described as strong team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
