This position is responsible for the overall management of wealth planning & insurance services for BOS RMs & their clients, the latter undertaken in tandem with external licensed insurance brokers in line with the BOS Insurance Products and Loans Operating Guidelines and Procedures as well as in-house for selected insurance carriers. This position will also be responsible for management oversight over the two trust/wealth planning administrators.

This could be a 1yr contract and / or permanent role depending on candidate's profile.

Description
Specific scope of work includes:-

  • Responsible for management of insurance services platform for BOS, including scope of universal life policies, levelized policies private life placement solutions and other insurance solutions as may be required by BOS RMs and clients from time to time, including the implementation of the correct workflow and processes that may be associated with a timely on-boarding of such solutions and services and post-sales processes eg claims, partial surrenders of policies and product approvals/variations/, working in tandem with BOS Credit/Legal/Compliance.
  • Responsible for the management of service providers of insurance solutions to BOS, including BOS' approved insurance brokers and insurance carriers.
  • Responsible for ensuring timely completion of reviews of brokers/insurance carriers/insurance products and other insurance related review processes, working in tandem with BOS Credit/Legal/Compliance.
  • Responsible for assisting Head Wealth Planning with all insurance related reports and workflow presentations as may be required to ensure seamless management of insurance related processes.
  • Responsible for management oversight over the team of wealth planning administrators and to acquire a working knowledge of trust solutions that may be required in the process.

  • Minimum of 8 years working experience as an insurance administration preferably in a global insurance brokerage/insurance carrier environment.
  • Tertiary Education with preferably a tax/accounting/finance degree.
