The EMEIA firm-wide ambition is to become a leader in sustainable business services, from strategy to execution.

 

Strategy and Transactions (SaT) is driving sustainability as a key strategic initiative across all EMEIA Regions. Goal is to increase market traction through an active SaT community of sustainability contacts / experts going to market together. We are driving selected SaT initiatives, participate in firm-wide build outs and contribute through SaT’s strongholds. We foster investments in sustainability-related capabilities (DAP, teams, acquisitions) as integral part of SaT accelerated growth plan across EY-Parthenon and Transactions Corporate Finance Sub-Service Lines.

 

The opportunity

The Program Manager Sustainability EMEIA (Focus on go-to-market) is a visible, high profile and challenging role within our EMEIA organization. The Program Manager will be expected to work with and for globally located senior EY partners, stakeholders, and teams to develop our go-to-market proposition across SaT to feed into the firm-wide proposition. This role encompasses business planning / go-to-market strategy development and implementation, stakeholder management, operational execution, and communications. This role provides deep knowledge of our SaT offerings overall and on sustainability in particular, as well as the opportunity of creating an international network of key contacts and relationships including at the most senior levels – all in the context of sustainability. 

 

Your key responsibilities

  • Support EMEIA SaT in developing and implementing our go-to-market strategy and activation for sustainability
  • Drive and track initiatives (e.g., go-to-market plans, showcasing credentials, enhancing SaT offerings, etc.) across the EMEIA Regions
  • Link with global and cross SL to align EMEIA SaT and leverage best practice from other Areas / SLs
  • Work with global and Area SaT Sustainability Fields of Play leaders, Program Manager Sustainability EMEIA, SaT SSL, Competency, sector, and Connected Capital Solutions networks to drive consistency and quality with a go-to-market focus

 

 

Skills and attributes for success

  • Strong interest or experience in sustainability
  • Strong relationship & stakeholder development skills – a team player in all senses
  • Strong communication, facilitation and influencing skills with the ability to effectively engage senior leadership
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, e.g. meetings, action plans, follow-ups, roadmap, etc.
  • Good understanding of EY and SaT, including competitive / commercial drivers
  • Self-starter; able to work independently, take initiative, work under pressure and deal with ambiguity
  • Willingness to learn and adapt
  • Cultural sensitivity and global mindset

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Experience in management consulting, including transactions
  • Influential leadership role working with C-level on major strategic initiatives
  • Demonstrated high performance
  • Experience of working internationally
  • Flexibility around hours and some international travel
