Open position
We are recruiting Master’s students with Computer Science or Computational Science or Applied Mathemat-ics with strong software developer skills, from quantitatively rigorous programs. The job will encompass high priority projects and full automation of complex workflows and quant strategies.
Required qualifications
- Education: Enrolled in Computational Science, Computer Science or a Master’s program in Applied Mathematics, Physics, with strong tracks in computer science and software engineering (Candidates from top institutions like EPFL, ETH Zurich, University of Zurich, or TU Munich are highly encouraged to apply).
- Experience (preferred): Full‑stack software engineering experience building software end‑to‑end, from front-end to back-end, including database design and SQL experience. Demonstrable project or intern-ship experience covering the full software lifecycle (design, implementation, testing, documentation). Experience with vibe coding.
- Programming: Strong proficiency in Python for analytics, services, and tooling; practical experience with SQL and relational databases. Hands-on experience with React (or comparable modern front-end frameworks) for building user-facing interfaces, workflows and dashboards.
- Professional Skills: Independent, proactive, reliable, and collaborative; low ego in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail with disciplined organization around data integrity (traceability, rec-onciliation, version control).
- Languages: Professional working proficiency in German and English.
- Eligibility: Candidates must be eligible to work in Switzerland.
