Data Science Director

This is a truly unique role, for one of the most recognised names in the Pharma industry. I've been tasked by this Pharma giant to provide exceptional profiles for a unique opportunity as a Competitive Intelligence Platform Lead within their growing Data & Analytics team. This role would be suited to a Data Science Director with significant CI (Competitive Intelligent) experience.
The role is a Competitive Intelligence Platform Lead. The Competitive Intelligence function within my client's D&A teams has been recently revamped and seeks to provide industry leading competitive intelligence across R&D and Commercial by improving the use of data and technology.
The candidate I am looking for will be a functional and technical specialist in Competitive Intelligence with deep knowledge of semantic technologies and information and the ability to engage and have impact with senior partners.
Key requirements:
- Solid understanding and experience of Competitive Intelligence solutions and data
- Ideally experience with Natural Language Processing and Ontologies
- MSc or BSc in Computer Science, Analytics or related quantitative field
This is an unusual opportunity where we are looking for a bit of a visionary to help drive the competitive intelligence platform and an AI whizz to understand how to apply state-of-the-art algorithms from advanced language models to 'FAIRifying' the data.
The individual will work with the Research & Development and Commercial stakeholders to shape, design and implement the next generation of information tools for other data scientists.
