Investment Management company seeks individual to help manage financial reporting oversight of their funds
Meraki Talent's client is a leading Investment and Fund Operations business to a wide range of corporate and financial institutions and a thriving business in Leeds.
The client is operating a hybrid working model that requires mandatory attendance in the office only twice a month ! The person appointed will help lead a small team in the day-to-day oversight activities of the outsourced annual and interim reports and financial statements responsibilities for unit trusts and funds under management.
Key tasks will include:
- Implementation of the oversight governance and procedures on an ongoing basis and identification and management of the risks presented.
- Implement any relevant and agreed improvements to current procedures and ensure these are applied to allocated work.
- Assist Manager with third party due diligence and other client service meetings.
- Identify and deliver training needs to team members.
- Keep abreast of changes in regulations and industry practices, in particular authorised funds SORP and taxation changes.
The role will suit individuals with industry experience in fund administration, investment accounting or similar environments to include a knowledge of oversight, accounts preparation and review and financial reporting along with the ability and exposure of leading small teams, coaching and/or mentoring staff.
