The Regulatory control team was formed in September 2015 to bring together the various operational functions performing regulatory related activities. The department is staffed with experienced personnel, who have performed several roles in Operations and have extensive product and operational process knowledge. The team members are encouraged to challenge processes and to work in partnership with other functions to enable the delivery of regulatory reporting within the required timeframe.
Main purpose of the role :
We have an exciting opportunity within our Regulatory control department for an operative to support the daily transaction monitoring for all regimes that MUFG Securities London has reporting obligations to.
Key responsibilities:
- Daily Monitoring of Transaction Reporting flows across multiple regimes (MiFID II / EMIR / CFTC/ HKMA/Front Office supervision)
- Daily Resolution of rejections and failures including raising change requests for systems
- Reconciliations between source systems and TR / ARM
- Production of MIS and Dashboard Reporting
- Maintaining issues logs
- Reporting of potential regulatory breeches to internal departments
Skills and experience:
- Cross Operational function experience (Securities and/or OTC transaction processing)
- MUREX user experience
- Cleared trade process
- Proficient with core Microsoft desktop software
- Working knowledge of Intellimatch
- Functional knowledge of operations and trade life cycles
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Preferred additional skills / experience
- A working knowledge of DTCC transaction reporting portal and OTC product knowledge
- Familiarity with HKTR.
- A good working knowledge of MiFID II transaction reporting requirements
- A good working knowledge of MiFID II ARM and PTT vendor packages for reporting
- EMIR / HKTR Portfolio Reconciliation experience
