The opportunity
We're looking for an exceptional marketing leader with a strong interest in the Consumer Products and Retail sector that can lead and set a sector marketing strategy that supports the growth aspirations for one of our most successful sectors in EY UKI. Working as a valued member of the BMC team, you will be an experienced and highly motivated individual with a strong background in professional services, keen to lead key campaigns and help build engagement with key influencers/decision makers. We're looking for someone like you who is passionate about making the most of this outstanding opportunity to join an award-winning team in the professional services sector.

Your key responsibilities
You'll work with the CPR business, developing campaigns that support revenue objectives and enhances the reputation of the firm. Using research and insight you will create strategies with focused objectives, budgets, targeting and metrics, developing and maintaining competitive and compelling value propositions. With illustration of channel expertise and risk awareness, you will work closely with external agencies, in house studios, the wider BMC team and regional teams to influence and negotiate with stakeholders to develop appropriate solutions to achieve business success.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Evidence of building and managing relationships with senior stakeholders and key stakeholder groups
  • Experience of developing plans that support revenue objectives and enhances the reputation of the firm
  • A background in campaign management, producing quality, consistent messages, through all channels
  • Full understanding of the importance of effective use of CRM tools
  • A solid understanding of campaign principles, coupled with a strong commercial drive and the ability to deliver high-value activities that deliver return on investment
  • A strong track record in delivering programmes and activities with measurable and demonstrable results and outcomes, ensuring alignment with brand and risk management

To qualify for the role you must have
  • Extensive business experience; or a degree (or equivalent), professional qualification, and time spent in the workplace
  • Excellent networking and influencing skills
  • Good quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Time and project management skills - highly organised with a sound attention to detail and an ability to deliver to deadlines
  • Strong IT skills - Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ideally, you'll also have

  • An enthusiastic, can do approach and be a strong team player
  • The ability to juggle conflicting demands on time and prioritise effectively
  • A desire to embrace and drive change whilst identifying and supporting process improvements and demonstrating best practice
  • Ability to learn new processes and skills quickly
  • Experience of working in large/matrix organisations, balancing multiple stakeholder requirements
  • A professional services background, however strong candidates from other sectors will also be considered.
