• TAD to TDD/BDD How you will contribute?
You will represent the needs of the stakeholders and have a clear vision of the service or capability which can be conveyed to the engineering teams in a granular and clear fashion to maximise the efficiency of the engineering & test teams. You will also ensure that engineering teams can efficiently consume the stories in the backlog and are clear what constitutes done. You will own and set the relative priorities in the backlog in the form of ranking the backlog as well as ensure that the stories have sufficient granularity to be able to be delivered within a sprint. We would also like to manage any scope conflicts within a Sprint and ensure that the delivered solution is 'fit for purpose'. Why you?
You bring strong experience in requirement analysis and product/ backlog ownership as well as project management. At Worldpay we are very agile so you have great knowledge of JIRA and have substantial experience in BDD/ Gherkin. You have a working understanding of Agile methodology and software development as well as prioritisation classification. Communication is a large part of the NAP Database Backlog Owners responsibilities - as our new NAP Database Backlog Owner your role requires working closely with key stakeholders across Worldpay, so you will need to communicate clearly and concisely to both technical and business people about the delivery at any given time. We would also like to you have good business analysis skills to identify stakeholder needs, negotiate priorities between stakeholders and then collaborate with the delivery team to ensure the requirements are implemented effectively.
