Fenics Solutions - Graduate Associate
Main purpose of the role:
We will be providing graduates an exciting opportunity to begin their careers in the expanding division of BGC Partner's Fenics Solutions business. The grad program will be comprised of three four month rotations across the department's core functions: Compression, Datalab/Data science & Software Analytics

We are looking to take on two ambitious and bright graduates, who have a keen interest in the FinTech space.

Our graduate programme will be 12-month scheme, starting early September 2020. With the
opportunity to complete the CISI qualification.

Key features of each rotation:

Capitalab rotation (Compression business):
  1. Introduction to Capitalab business of optimising portfolios of financial derivatives for global investment banks and buy-side clients
  2. Learn about how the business focuses on multilateral derivatives compression and portfolio optimisation
Datalab rotation:
  1. Engineering quantitative analysis solutions on significant historical data sets
  2. Application of data science techniques to derive value-added metrics and visualizations from raw data
  3. Gain exposure to the overall Market Data business

kACE Analytics Product Strategy Rotation:
  1. Assist in developing developing fast and accurate real-time analytics in an informal and dynamic environment
  2. Work on designing and developing algorithms, and implementing them in C++
  3. Prepare test data, and use it as the basis for building automated tests
  4. Develop a close understanding of relevant markets and their conventions to ensure our pricing tools continue to reflect current market practice, while remaining theoretically grounded
  5. Maintain clear written documentation of the algorithms you develop

Skills / experience required:
  1. Relevant degree in Maths/Physics/Engineering/Computer science/ Quantitative Financial / Applied Mathematics
  2. Added plus: Python, C#, C++, knowledge of numerical algorithms
