IT Governance is concerned with ensuring that the IT organization operates in an effective, efficient and compliant fashion by providing the oversight and on-going development of IT Governance for the Kingfisher Group. This function will identify, establish and link the mechanisms to oversee the use of information and related technology to create value, ensure that Management are well informed and manage the risks associated with using information and technology.

To ensure that Kingfisher is appropriately protected from cyber and information security risks through detailed analysis and reporting. Work in conjunction with other members of the IT Governance team to support all parts of the organisation. Be a subject matter expert for security threats and vulnerabilities providing help and support to others.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for identifying security threats and their impact on the Kingfisher IT environment, work with IT teams to develop remediation plans to protect against security threats, ensure all IT solutions are delivered 'Secure by Design', execute supplier assurance reviews, execute assurance reviews against Kingfisher Information Security policies and standards, manage the regular scanning of the IT environment, support detailed investigations where a security incident has occurred or is suspected and provide detailed and accurate reports to support the findings of all reviews and investigations

Qualifications

We're expecting this person to have professional experience in a technical infrastructure role with a keen interest and some experience in information security, have the capability of discussing technical issues in a non-technical way, good understanding of security risks and the impact they can have on a business, the ability to conduct basic investigations, a technical background in one or more of the following Windows, Unix, Oracle, SAP, Cloud, Digital, Networks, IoT

You will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work under pressure and cope with competing demands, personality as well as creativity in thinking and acting, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to build strong working relationships and speak English, French & other languages an advantage
