An outstanding opportunity has arisen as a result of an internal promotion to work in Group Corporate Treasury within our Funding & Liquidity Management team.

Here in the Funding & Liquidity Management team we have responsibility for measuring, monitoring and leading our funding and liquidity needs to meet regulatory requirements and to ensure we operate within internal risk appetite. We work closely with the Retail and Commercial Banking Divisions and across the Risk and Finance communities, which would provide you with a wide breadth of learning and development in regard to Group liquidity management.

What would you get involved with?

As a Manager in the team you will have the opportunity to provide analysis and insight across Funding and Liquidity activities, and play a meaningful role in crafting how we lead the Group's approach to managing funding and liquidity. The role combines production and presentation of Funding and Liquidity analytics, Business Partnering with other GCT desks and Commercial Banking businesses, Funding Strategy, and Digital/Data innovation.

Your key accountabilities will include:
  • Ownership and production of Funding and Liquidity analytics - liquidity metrics, investment composition, variance analysis, early warning indicators, trending, senior management papers (ALCO, Board and GEC)
  • Providing daily insight into how liquidity and funding impacts the Group, translating specialist technical knowledge into analysis, ideas, identification of risk and opportunities, manipulation/aggregation of data
  • Real-time decision making on MI development, business liquidity and funding risk management, and senior management escalation
  • Analysis of contingent liquidity exposures and managing relationships with GCT Issuance & GCT Collateral
  • Supporting the development of the digital and data strategy for Funding and Liquidity information and distribution
  • Oversight of BAU MI Production
