TAS Talent Development Supervising Associate - UK&I - L&D - 12 M FTC - London

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to join the Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) Talent Development team at EY to support the development, facilitation and deployment of "World Class Learning" to the UK & Ireland region (UK&I) in line with the Global Process Model.

The Opportunity:

As a Supervising Associate you will be expected to perform some or all of the core responsibilities detailed below, contributing to the Talent Development team's priorities and objectives. An essential component of the role is also to generate high levels of employee engagement through your communication, behaviours and actions.

Your Key Responsibilities:

You'll spend the majority of your time working with the TAS business and specific Sub Service Lines (SSLs) on identifying and deploying their business priorities with overall responsibility for course deployment and delivery strategy. Including key deployment activities i.e. ensuring target audience is trained, review the feedback and suggest enhancements.

You will be leading and project managing TAS projects including stakeholder conversations and research. Facilitate EMEIA and Regional learning events (technical/non-technical). Realise operational excellence and contribute to continuous improvement through maintaining a thorough understanding of, and adherence to, the Global Process Model. You will e mbrace, promote and support learning transformation (both system and shift in delivery style) with stakeholders. Be r esponsible for the output of your project team members, e.g. the Learning Consultant, Learning Coordinator and/or the TSS Learning administrator. Manage the budget, accruals, forecasts and actual costs of courses you are responsible for, supporting all Finance related activities.

Work alongside the Learning Solutions team and SMR's to identify and meet new learning needs, support in identifying routes to market and testing new content with stakeholders, guide the Learning Consultants in implementing new solutions. Work with key stakeholders to develop a successful facilitator model which minimises admin burden on our Learning Consultants and appropriately leverages the business, support the Learning Consultant in implementation of this. Develop strong relationships with other regions to ensure that the mutual benefits of the host relationship are maximised (ROI, FSO, ETC). Act as escalation point for a programme or business-as-usual courses.

Skills and Attributes for Success:

  • A desire to embrace and drive change whilst identifying and supporting process improvements and demonstrating best practice
  • A background and experience in complex project management, in the context of learning deployment or coordination, ideally within a Professional Services firm
  • Strong team player with an enthusiastic, can do approach
  • Ability to juggle conflicting demands on time and prioritise effectively
  • Ability to pre-empt deadlines and pursue colleagues for relevant information
  • Strong stakeholder management and responsibility for building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships with the business, directly within the service lines and recognising the multiple perspectives they may have. For example, with EMEIA and Global Learning teams, Resourcing, Operations, Learning Champions, Q&RM/PPD, Subject Matter Experts, People Leaders or External learning providers
  • Excellent people management, coaching and interpersonal skills
  • Provide leadership and build motivation within the team, acting as a role model, particularly during periods of change.
  • Coach, support, counsel and line manage the Talent Development Learning Consultants and Learning Coordinators to increase their knowledge, skills and competence within their role.
  • Proactive in managing queries and able to escalate appropriately with a solutions mindset
  • Shows enthusiasm for and evidence of course design / facilitation and/or programme management
To Qualify for the Role you must have:
  • Able to apply knowledge or take a fresh perspective to solve complex problems and issues that arise
  • Ability to interact well with people at all levels within the firm and a demonstrate proven ability to build strong relationships
  • Strong IT skills - Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint and SharePoint
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Highly organised with a sound attention to detail and an ability to deliver to deadlines
  • A proven ability to coach others and manage the personal development of team members
