A global financial consultancy are recruiting a Tax Director to come in a provide support to the team. This support would have a specific focus on indirect tax. In addition to this you will provide indirect tax input into transaction advisory and due diligence projects. The team is heavily involved in many transaction and due diligence projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide indirect tax advice on transactions and due diligence exercises
- Liaise with other members of the tax team
- Managing compliance obligations for clients arising from transactions
- Assist team with other specific VAT engagements and advisory projects as required
- Keep up to date with latest tax policies
Skills/Experience
- ACA/ACCA/CTA
- Substantial experience of VAT with a focus on transactions from either an in-house or practice role
- Strong indirect tax technical knowledge
- Real Estate tax experience would be an advantage but not essential
