What you'll do

One of the first interactions with our clients is the onboarding experience, therefore it's vital it meets their expectations. As we continually seek to push the boundaries of speed, ease and client engagement, we are looking for a strong technical leader to take us to the next level.

Strong leadership skills and a proven track record of delivering complex software projects are essential. As is a drive for continual improvement and passion for pushing the boundaries. You'll:
- Lead several development teams - 30-40 in size
- Collaborate with product owners
- Deliver a wide range of projects
- Play a role in designing and elaborating initial ideas
- Be responsible for delivering sound technical design and maintaining standards
- Report to the Head of Client Technology (Department Head - who reports to CTO)

Who you'll be

You'll be an energetic individual with a passion for creating brilliant client experiences, through the efficient and effective delivery of great tech.

You be brilliant at some or all of these things:
• Leading people and development teams
• Agile delivery practices and proven success with applying them and a thirst for continually improving and changing things
• Leading teams to deliver great backend technologies such as Java, Spring and messaging technologies
• Leading the design of enterprise applications in a distributed architecture
• Overseeing the delivery of multiple projects at once
• Managing dependencies and galvanising the effort between multiple development teams
• Working with senior stakeholders and product owners and managing their expectations around project delivery
• Continuous improvement and continuous delivery both at a personal and technical level
• Coaching/mentoring developers and improving their software engineering skills
