Trade Surveillance Analyst

In this role you will complete a range of monitoring processes designed to prevent and detect issues in respect of Market Abuse, Best Execution and Trading Conflicts of Interest.
Responsibilities How you'll spend your time.... - Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly monitoring programme.
- Ensure that process and procedure documents are kept up to date.
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of Management Information and escalations.
- Identify areas for development and improvement in respect of key monitoring processes.
- Providing on-the-job training and support to the junior analyst.
- Develop and maintain a good working relationship with the EMEA GCO team.
- Seek opportunities to build relationship with, and increase collaboration and alignment with NA surveillance team.
- Continue to focus on personal development and attend training suitable for role.
Required Qualifications To be successful in this role you will have.... - Good demonstrable industry knowledge and expertise in a trade surveillance role.
- Experience of using market leading automated monitoring solutions / tools.
- Good understanding of Market Abuse Regulations. Able to apply relevant principles as part of a monitoring process.
- Good understanding of Regulatory requirements in respect of Best Execution. Able to apply relevant principles as part of a monitoring process.
- Strong IT skills, in particular Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint. Must be able to write macros.
- Strong communication skills to deal with key stakeholders including Fund Managers, Traders, IT and Legal and Compliance.
Preferred Qualifications If you also had this, it would be great.... - Good understanding of Bloomberg BTCA and NASDAQ Compass solutions.
- Understanding of data analytics systems such as Tableau and PowerBI.
- Network of contacts in Trade Surveillance teams within other Peer firms.
