An ideal candidate will have had some experience in a similar financial environment, but this is not a pre-requisite as they typically look at technical talent first and business knowledge second.

Key skills for VP Java Software Developer:

  • 5+ years Core Java programming experience
  • Knowledge of SQL/MS-SQL/T-SQL
  • Experience with low latency, multithreaded systems desirable
  • Experience with tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Git, Jira, Cucumber, Gerkin
  • Systems design experience
  • Object-oriented design skills. Architect experience a plus
  • Written & verbal communication
  • Minimum of Bachelors in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar discipline
